HOW TO BOOK |

1) The apartments are sorted first by size and then by area. Click on the little doorbell icon near the apartment’s picture to reach the apartment’s page, where you can find more pictures, a complete description of the apartment and a form that you can send to enquire about the availability of the apartment. If you don’t like to browse around the apartment’s list you can also simply send an email to info@shortletsinrome.com specifying the period, the size, the area and other details of the researched apartment. 2) Our staff will promptly reply to your enquire reporting the availability and the price of the apartment or suggesting other possible apartments which could meet your needs. 3) If you decide to book one of the available apartments you need to fill in the provisional booking form (attached to our reply) and email it back. In the form you also select a payment method. 4) Upon receipt of your provisional booking form, our staff will reserve the apartment. You will then be requested to pay a confirmation deposit which is usually around 40% of the total rent, and has to be paid within 2 working days or less, depending on the chosen payment method. Based on the chosen payment method you will receive an email with all the necessary instructions to do the payment. Please note: The deposit is to guarantee the reservation, should we not receive it, the reservation will be cancelled. |

We require payment by: a) Credit Card (Euro currecy only) We provide PayPal (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)* credit card payments. PayPal is the actual global leader in online payment solutions. Available in 56 countries and regions around the world. If you select this payment method, you will receive an email from our staff containing instructions on how to reach a secure page on the PayPal server (www.paypal.com) where, after a little registration procedure, you will be able to safely use your credit card to do the payment. The currency will be in Euro, and the amount will be fixed and will correspond to the agreed one. You will immediately receive a receipt of your payment from the PayPal system and a following email from our staff with the payment confirmation and with all the final details on your check-in at the apartment. * Only Visa and Mastercard for the following countries: Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and Spain. b) Bank transfer (Euro cuurency only) If you decide to pay with a bank wire transfer you will receive an email from our staff containing all our bank details. Please note that the wire transfer currency must be Euro and that you need to specify to your bank that eventful additional costs/commissions of other correspondent banks are up to you. In case we receive on our bank account less than the agreed amount, the difference will be charged to you on your arrival in Rome. Upon receipt of your bank transfer you will receive an email from our staff with the payment confirmation and with all the final details on your check-in at the apartment. c) US Dollars Check This option is available only for reservations coming from USA confirmed at least 2 months before the beginning of the rent. It also implies an additional cost of 30,00 USD for bank expenses. If you select this payment option, our staff, after calculating the deposit amount, will convert it into US Dollars and add to it 30,00 USD. You will receive an email with the total USD amount and with the address where to send your check by airmail. Upon receipt of your check (usually one week), you will receive an email from our staff with the payment confirmation and with all the final details on your check-in at the apartment. |

Cancellation policy |

If you are forced to cancel the reservation within: - 30 days before your arrival date, the deposit will not be refundable - more than 30 days before your arrival date, we will refund you 30% of the deposit |
